Sindala Platform and Emerged Breakwater
Project Summary
In 2023, the Sindala Platform and Emerged Breakwater Project was executed on Sindala Island, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for NEOM. The scope included the construction, fabrication, and erection of a steel platform supporting the emerged breakwater works. The project involved redesigning the platform, engineering and detailing of steel connections, preparation of method statements, and development of shop drawings using Tekla Structures, along with full quality control and site supervision.
Client Challenge
The project required precise redesign and execution of steel structures in a marine environment, ensuring constructability, structural safety, and quality compliance while meeting tight schedules and coordinating fabrication and erection activities under challenging offshore conditions.
